I really wanted to like this book. This book I was most excited for as Maleficent is my favorite villain. And especially after the first book on the Evil Queen was everything I hoped for. It stuck to the Disney movie storyline with a whole new perspective from the evil queen. Maleficent story line, sadly strayed away from Disney’s Sleepjng Beauty story. Focusing more on before the movies storyline and focusing more on new characters created by the author. Spoiler Alert!!—-Im also not a fan of Maleficent being Aurora’s mother. There’s no explanation of how Aurora ends up with the king and queen. You’re to assume the 3 fairy’s brought her to them. But why?! Could they not have children of their own? Were they aware aurora is maleficent’s child? That she’ll have powers one day? Which I also do not care for. I hear the next book about mother Gothel strays even further from Disney’s story also focusing on the authors new characters to lead up to the next book that’s all about said characters. I think I’m going to skip Mother Gothel as well as the next one. If she had only kept Disney’s storyline from the movies we all love and grew up on like her first book of the series.
Huge fan of maleficent but I was somewhat disappointed. The first half was very slow .. it picked up towards the end.
Just like with the other Villain series, this was excellent! The book has more pages and all the beloved characters are back to twist up our ordinary fairy tales. Looking forward to the next in the series in July 2018.The book arrived on time and in perfect condition. Thanks Amazon!

I'm a little upset that I recieved a book with a damaged cover there's scratches and its sticky. Still wont stop me from reading the book its just unfortunate I liked the design for the hardcover book so this isnt what I expected.
I haven't read the book yet but showed up very nicely. If I have problems I'll update this review. I love the series of Valentino's Disney tales. I'm planning on ordering the whole series.
i loved this one. since we dont know all that much about malificent, the author has a lot of freedom to tell her story and this telling was captivating could not put the book down
If you enjoy reading about Disney’s Villians than you will enjoy Mistress of All Evil. It gives you the backstory of how she grew up and the reason she was so revengeful toward Aurora. Fun read.
