Seriously? The "ultimate guide"? It's 14 pages long with one out of focus small black and white photo. This may be the first thing I ask Amazon for a refund for out of principle. I really can't see how this is not a complete scam. Look at the cover. How could anyone not think that this is a legitimate book by the cover and description? But in actuality, it is 14 pages of ridiculously basic material, that would be included with any camera purchase. Actually, if Canon or Nikon included this with a purchase, I'd think it was ridiculous. It's an "ultimate guide" to photography with one photo! Seriously, man, everyone has a right to earn a living but not like this. It wasn't like it was expensive but I bought this instead of other photography books as a gift. Clearly I can't give this as a "book." I have junk mail thicker than this.
The book is good, and detailed.....but.......there are just enough grammatical errors to annoy anyone who reads it. The book is short, about 24 pages, and a quick read, (8 minutes), and it DOES deliver a lot of useful information. There is one non-working link at the end of the book, for the review, but that is forgivable........the end of the book made me realize that I recognized the author.....he uses a picture of two (his?) dogs to hold signs that say "THANK YOU".....that is a cute ploy. With a second or third re-write, I would give this book 5 stars. I do recommend it, even in its current form.
I love taking pictures. Everywhere I go I bring my camera with me and my smartphone. I am not a selfie addict but i love to capture even a single weed growing on the ground. I want to excel in photography most especially in digital photography that's why I buy this book. I must say this book is perfect for me. I learned a lot of thing about digital photography. Good book.
