I have used several REA books and some of them were fantastic. This book offers very little help. There have to be better sources than this. It is confusing and causes unnecessary anxiety. There is a little bit of information in it that may have helped me, but it was buried throughout.
They say to study for 6 weeks prior to testing. I studied for 4 days and passed.The biggest thing that threw me off, however, was that the essays were hand-written and not typed. Oh well, still passed.Word of advice though, give yourself more time that 4 days to go through this book and the online practice tests, that was stressful.
Fairly easy read so far, will update later I've read more than one chapter. Had a problem logging into the online portion with my product code. I called the help number listed on the website, and a kinda rude lady fixed it for me pretty quickly. Will update after I take the exam because I think that's probably the true test of the book's worth.
Definitely helped me to prepare for the exam. The practice exams were immensely helpful in both covering the content of the exam as well as familiarizing you with the format of the test itself.
I took the College Composition CLEP on pretty short notice. I reviewed this book during the week before and I feel it really helped me. I ended up passing the test without any issues and I have this book to thank!
CLEP College Comp did help me to pass the exam, it had been a while since I had formal instruction.
Good. The online tests are harder than the actual exam but give you good idea of what to expect.
Issue I have is that the code to do the online practice test didn't work. I think f the numbers in the code was misprinted or just missing.
